A shawl is perhaps the most versatile piece of clothing there is. Because of the many ways you can wear it, it’s an essential part of your wardrobe. This light and stylish design looks great over a dress or paired with a pair of cool jeans. It’s made from Stylecraft Special DK, a 100% Acrylic yarn available in no fewer than 92 different colors. Choose your favorite color(s), get started, and create your own unique shawl! We crocheted the Stylecraft Special DK shawl in two summery shades: Duck-egg (color number 1820) and Vintage Peach (color number 1836). These mint and romantic pink hues make the shawl extra stylish.
What do you need to crochet the shawl?
- 5 balls of Stylecraft Special DK in the color Duck-egg (1820) or Vintage Peach (1836).
- 4 mm Crochet Hook
Free Crochet Shawl Patterns
Row 1: Start with a chain of 4 chain stitches, then crochet 4 double crochets into the first chain stitch. Turn the work after each row.
Row 2: Chain 3, 4 double crochets in the last double crochet of the previous row, 1 single crochet in the 3rd double crochet of the previous row, 5 double crochets in the 3rd chain stitch of the previous row.

Crochet a total of 83 rows.
To finish the scarf, crochet 1 round of single crochets along the top edge of the scarf.
Make 3 tassels about 10 cm long and attach them to the ends of the Scarf.
