Crochet a Scarf with Lana Grossa Mohairlana

The cold weather is here to stay for a while, and we don’t mind that at all! After all, winter is way too short to make all those beautiful things, isn’t it? Once again, we’d like to share another gem of a design with you. Read on for the free pattern!

Despite the cold weather, winter is one of our favorite seasons. After all, cold weather means cozy crocheting or knitting by the fireplace, dressing up in warm accessories, and wearing your homemade sweaters and cardigans. Luckily, we can still enjoy the cold weather for a little while longer and get started on this lovely scarf.

This scarf is made from Lana Grossa Mohairlana, a fine yarn composed of mohair, wool, and Polyamide. The thin yarn has a fuzzy texture, giving your projects a unique look. The lace pattern of this scarf really lets the yarn shine!

Tools & Supplies:
- 4 balls of Lana Grossa Mohairlana, color 16
- Crochet Hook size 7

Crochet Pattern for the Mohairlana Scarf:

Basic Pattern: Double crochets worked into the spaces (sp.) between the double crochets of the previous row. The large hook creates a lace pattern.

The scarf is crocheted starting from the tip toward the long side. In each row, increases are made on the right and left—that is, at the beginning and end of the row.

Chain 4 stitches and crochet 3 stitches in the first ch.

Round 1: 5 ch., 3 sts in the 1st space, 3 sts in the 2nd space = 6 sts.

2nd row: 5 ch., 3 sts in the 1st space, 1 st in each subsequent space, 3 sts around the chain arch at the end of the row = 10 sts.

3rd row: 5 ch., 3 sts in the 1st space, 1 st in each subsequent space, 3 sts around the chain arch at the end of the row = 14 sts.

Rows 4–47: Crochet as in Row 3, increasing 4 sts in each row. After 47 rows, fasten off.

Finishing: Tie off all the threads.
