How do you crochet the knot stitch?
To crochet the knot stitch, you only need the basic stitches. If you’ve mastered single crochet and treble crochet, crocheting the knot stitch will be a breeze for you. After a chain row and a row of single crochets, alternate between single crochets and double crochets. Because the double crochet is longer than the single crochet, the single crochet folds over slightly. This creates the button. On the back side, crochet another row of single crochets, so that in the next round you can resume the single crochet-treble crochet pattern. By starting this round with a treble crochet, the knots will be staggered.
Projects Using the Knotting Stitch
What are some ideal projects for crocheting with the knot stitch? We have a really fun suggestion for you: the Dream Blanket 3.0. This stylish throw blanket features many different stitches, one of which is the knot stitch. In addition, using pattern sections and videos, you’ll learn many other stitches, including the pineapple stitch, Apache tears, the weave stitch, the loop stitch, and the granite stitch.
In addition to the regular Dream Blanket 3.0, there is also a reversible Crochet Kit for the Dream Blanket 3.0. As the name suggests, the colors are reversed in the reversible version. The main color is cream, and the accents are crocheted in a different shade. The Dream Blanket 3.0 collection also includes a baby blanket and a decorative pillow.
