Crochet Pattern: Puff Stitch

Yarn: Yarn and Colors Joy
Needle Size: cast on with a 4.5 mm needle and continue crocheting with a 4 mm needle

The number of stitches for a puff stitch must be divisible by 2 + 3.

Start in the 4th chain stitch from the Crochet Hook with a puff stitch.

Step 1: Wrap the thread around and insert it into the stitch
Step 2: Pick up the yarn and form a long loop (3 loops on the needle)
Step 3: Wrap the yarn around the needle, insert the needle into the same stitch, and pull the yarn through (5 loops on the needle)
Step 4: Wrap the yarn around the needle, insert the needle into the same stitch, and pick up the yarn (7 loops on the needle)
Step 5: Wrap the thread around and pull it through all 7 loops
Step 6: Crochet 1 chain stitch

When crocheting the puff stitch on a chain of chain stitches, skip 1 chain stitch and then crochet another puff stitch. If you’ve already crocheted a row of puff stitches, you can make a new puff stitch in the space between each puff stitch.
Good luck!
