Crocheting a Tunisian Scarf - It’s winter, and all kinds of scarves are making an appearance. Generous shawls, colorful stoles, and cozy turtleneck scarves: we just can’t get enough of them! To create something just a little bit different, Saskia designed this bright yellow scarf. Trendy, warm, and Tunisian-crocheted. Will you add this standout piece to your collection?
This Rico Essentials Super Chunky scarf is totally trendy and nice and warm. The weave-like Tunisian crochet stitch creates a beautiful texture and feels supple. Saskia chose a bold, vibrant color, but the yarn comes in 24 different shades. Go for bright yellow with a touch of taupe, or choose from the other gorgeous colors!

Row 4, return: Pick up the yarn and slip 1 stitch, *pick up the yarn and slip 2 stitches. Repeat from *.
Repeat rows 1–4. When you’ve used up the 4 balls of color 15, pick up the loop with color 2 (before working the “back” row: this creates a sort of zipper effect) and continue where you left off.
Finish:
Attach with Glam at a random spot along the long side of the scarf. Crochet 1 mini flower in each row. In the corners, crochet 2 mini flowers with 3 chain stitches between them. Along the short side, crochet a mini flower in each stitch.
