- 15 mm Crochet Hook

Stitches used:
l. = chain stitch
hv. = slip stitch
v. = single crochet

Crochet 41 sts and join the chain with a slip stitch. Make sure the chain doesn't twist. Crochet 1 st to create height.
*1 sc, 1 ch, 1 st. skip* Repeat from * to *. You end the first round with a sc and must continue crocheting in the round. Therefore, chain 1 and crochet a sc around the chain you made after joining to create height. Then continue crocheting in the round by crocheting a sc around the chain from the previous round.

Crochet until you run out of yarn or until you think the neckline is big enough.

Urban Brick Stitch Scarf

- 12 mm Crochet Hook

Stitches used:
l. = chain stitch
hv. = slip stitch
pc. = double crochet

Crochet 36 sts and join the chain with a slip stitch.
Row 1: 2 ch., 3 tr. around the chain, 1 ch., *4 tr. around the chain, 1 ch.*. Repeat from * to * a total of 8 times. Join with a sl st. in the 2nd ch.
Row 2: 4 ch., 1 sl st around the ch. from the previous row. *3 ch., 1 sl st around the ch. from the previous row*. Repeat from * to * a total of 8 times. Join with a sl st in the 1st ch.
Row 3: 2 ch., 3 dc around each of the 4 ch. from the previous row, 1 ch., *4 dc around the chain, 1 ch.*. Repeat from * to * a total of 8 times. Join the row with a sl st in the 2nd ch.

Repeat rows 2 and 3 until you run out of yarn. Make sure to end with row 3.
