Crocheting Succulents—The Latest Trend!

Crocheting Succulents - Houseplants are all the rage! The “urban jungle” look is popping up in the trendiest department stores, and plant prints have become an indispensable part of interior design. Don’t have much of a green thumb, but still want to create your own plant paradise? Then go for some alternative greenery and start crocheting! Read on for the free pattern for these cute little succulents...

Following the success of the crocheted cactus and the popularity of the urban jungle, crocheted succulents are a must-have in our collection. Annemarie took on the challenge of creating these cute little guys and designed four different styles.

To achieve the right shades, we’ve chosen two different types of yarn. Rico Creative Cotton Aran is a matte cotton that’s ideal for the plants’ potting soil. The plants themselves are crocheted using the beautiful, lustrous Rico Essentials Cotton DK, which really makes the bright shades of green pop. Choose your favorite design and get started on these soft, cuddly succulents!
