The Fiori version of Fields of Gold combines colorful sunflowers and poppies in an expressive floral display. Lucia Dunn created this new color scheme based on Jane Crowfoot’s original design. The block-patterned blanket measures approximately 120 x 120 cm.

Single Crochet Fiori Colorway with Fifteen Colors

This kit contains the single Fiori colorway as shown. You cannot choose the fifteen colors yourself. The composition consists of Stylecraft Life DK (Aqua, Lily, Cream, Fern, Mint, and Teal; 1 skein each), Life DK Nepp (Indigo Nepp 2 skeins, Black Nepp 1 skein, Gorse Nepp 1 skein), and Stylecraft Special DK (Clementine, Dandelion, Fondant, Kelly Green, Lipstick, and Proper Purple; 1 skein each). Total: 16 balls.

Important: You’ll need two pattern sections

The Fiori Color Guide is not a complete Crochet Pattern. To crochet this version, you’ll need both the original Fields of Gold Crochet Pattern and the English-language Fiori Color and Motif Guide. You’ll receive the complete original Dutch-language Crochet Pattern digitally via My Downloads as standard. The separate Fiori color and motif guide is available exclusively in English and supplements this basic pattern. Please check whether this supplementary guide is included with your order or must be ordered separately. To use the basic pattern in English, select the printed English-language edition from the optional extras; it is not included.

Can I choose my own colors?

No. You’ll receive the fifteen colors from Lucia Dunn’s Fiori design as shown, for a total of sixteen Balls of yarn.

Which pattern comes with this Crochet Kit?

You’ll receive the original, complete “Fields of Gold” Crochet Pattern digitally in Dutch via My Downloads as standard. For the Fiori colorway, you’ll also need the English-language Fiori color guide. You can optionally order the printed English-language version of the basic pattern along with your kit.

Is the Fiori color guide a complete pattern?

No. This English-language guide describes the colors and adjustments for each flower motif and must be used in conjunction with the original Fields of Gold pattern.

Is Fiori available in Dutch?

The included or separately available Fiori color and motif guide is in English.

How much yarn is needed?

The design shown requires 16 balls of yarn in fifteen different colors. Yarn usage may vary depending on your stitch tension.

What Crochet Hook should I use?

A 4 mm Crochet Hook. Check the gauge before you start working on the motifs.
