Yarn and Colors Glamorous Table Pads Crochet Kit

Turn any festively set table into something special with the Glamorous Table Pads from Yarn and Colors. These stylish, crocheted placemats combine the sturdy look of Yarn and Colors Epic with a subtle shimmer from Yarn and Colors Glamour. Perfect for Christmas dinner, but just as great for a Birthday or any other cozy dinner party.

Choose your favorite colors

The kit comes standard in the color combination shown, featuring Epic 002 Cream and Glamour 089 Gold. You can customize both thread colors yourself: choose your favorite Epic color from 140 options and pair it with one of the 9 Glamour colors. This way, you can create placemats that match your tableware, interior, and table decorations. The combination you choose will be used for all the placemats in this kit.

What are you making?

With this kit, you’ll crochet 6 square placemats, each measuring approximately 40 x 40 cm. The design features a simple texture with a subtle glitter detail. The pattern is suitable for beginners; the final dimensions may vary slightly depending on your crocheting style.

Tools & Supplies

To make and finish your project, you'll need the tools & supplies listed below. These are not included in the standard Yarn Kit, but you can easily order the available items as optional extras.

• 4.5 mm and 5 mm Crochet Hooks
• Tape Measure
• Stopping needle
• Scissors
• Blocking mats and pins
• A plant sprayer filled with water to dampen the placemats before stretching them (not available as an add-on with this kit)

After crocheting, you can gently stretch the placemats while damp to shape them on blocking mats. Care instructions: Hand wash only. Although Epic is machine washable up to 60 °C on its own, the Glamour yarn incorporated into the crochet determines the care requirements for the entire placemat. Therefore, hand wash the placemats, lay them flat to dry, and gently reshape them if necessary. Do not tumble dry or iron.

Washing Instructions and Care

Since Yarn and Colors Glamour is used as an accent yarn, follow Glamour’s Care Instructions for the entire project: hand wash, do not tumble dry, and do not iron. This also applies if you choose an Epic color that can be washed on its own at 60 °C.

Dimensions

Approximately 40 x 40 cm per placemat.
