What are you making?

You'll crochet a Christmas blanket measuring approximately 100 x 125 cm with alternating color patterns and a finished border. The gingerbread figures will have embroidered faces and bows. Optionally, you can make pom-poms for the corners.

Additional finishing materials

For the faces and bows on the gingerbread figures, you'll also need a few meters of dark brown yarn, about 1 meter of checkered Ribbon, and a small amount of Sewing Thread. These materials are not included in the kit.

FAQ

Can the decorative bows and faces be made right away using just the kit?

You'll also need dark brown yarn, checkered ribbon, and Sewing Thread for the faces and bows. These finishing materials are not included. The pom-poms on the corners are optional.

Why do I need two different sizes of Crochet Hooks?

The patterns call for both 4 mm and 4.5 mm needles. For certain color patterns, the larger needle is used to maintain even tension and prevent the sides from curling inward.

Can I make the blanket bigger?

Yes. According to the designer, you can increase the width in increments of 30 stitches and adjust the length by adding extra pattern sections. You may need more yarn than is included in the kit.
