Katia Polar -
A playful effect yarn with a fluffy thread that creates a true faux fur look. Katia Polar is made of 100% polyester and, thanks to its velvet fur-like appearance, is perfect for crafting warm accessories such as hats and scarves. With its soft touch, Katia Polar offers a wonderfully comfortable wear. Each skein weighs 100 grams and has a length of approx. 60 meters.
This yarn has a medium thickness and is ideal for knitting with needles size 7-8 mm. To knit a women's long-sleeve sweater in size 42, you will need approximately 5 skeins.
For a 10 x 10 cm swatch, knit 7 stitches and 12 rows. The yarn is machine washable at 30C (wool program). Tumble drying is not recommended.
Tip from Katia: Due to the production characteristics of this yarn and to achieve a uniform texture and color in your work, we recommend knitting with 2 skeins alternately, switching every two rows.
