Dimensions and Technique

The standard blanket measures approximately 88 x 120 cm. The blanket is crocheted in rows using an overlay mosaic pattern and finished with an envelope edge that neatly tucks away the chain stitches. The pattern includes 23 different motifs that you can repeat to make the blanket longer. Would you prefer a different size? The pattern includes additional information on how to adjust the dimensions.

You can also make “Adventures in Overlay Mosaic” with many more or far fewer colors. The design works even with just 2 colors, but also with up to 24 colors, making it a fun project for using up leftover yarn.
