The sample cardigan shown in the images is in red, cream, and pink. However, with this customizable Knitting Kit, you can choose any colors you like. You can follow the sample color combination, adjust one or more colors, or create your own palette from scratch. This way, you can use the same pattern to make a cardigan that perfectly matches your style.

A cardigan with different knitting stitches

In this pattern, you’ll combine ribbing, seed stitch, and stockinette stitch. The different stitches create subtle textural variations between the blocks of color and give the cardigan extra character. The body and sleeves are worked with large needles, so your project will come together quickly.

The entire cardigan is knitted with two strands of yarn. This means you’re always working with two strands at the same time. This creates a fuller knit and really brings out the Chunky effect.

Choose the colors for your cardigan yourself

The colors in the images are for inspiration only. For each color position in the kit, you can choose any available color. Be sure to stick to the specified quantities for each color position.

One of the original colors in the design is no longer available and will therefore be replaced by Stylecraft Special Chunky 1005 Cream by default. If you’d prefer to use a different color, you can choose an available color for this section yourself, just as you did for the other color choices.

Size and Fit

This kit is designed for size S/M. The basic pattern also accommodates size L/XL. For the larger size, you will need different measurements and more yarn than is included in this standard kit.

Gauge swatch
