Connexxion 2025 CAL by Crazy Crochet Catlady - Anke Wintermans - A CAL - Crochet - A - Long—as the name suggests—is a pattern that can be crocheted together with others. Everyone makes their own blanket, starting at the same time and working on a section each week until the blanket is finally finished. This Connexxion CAL consists of a blanket made up of 35 blocks, featuring 8 different patterns. When you crochet these blocks together correctly, a beautiful, seamless pattern emerges. The 35 blocks of the Connexxion CAL come together to form the Connexxion blanket, measuring approximately 140 x 195 cm!

What makes this pattern especially challenging is that not all blocks are symmetrical. Some of them have four different sides. So be EXTRA careful while crocheting!

This CAL is therefore intended for Haaksters with advanced crochet skills!

The technique used is: Crocheting a mosaic pattern starting from the center. It is not possible to crochet this Connexxion blanket in rows. This is because the blocks are crocheted starting from the center. Since you crochet from the center, there are no loose ends on the sides of these blocks. When joining the individual blocks together, you crochet them directly into one another without having to crochet a border around them first.

The Connexxion CAL 2025 runs for 10 weeks. If you follow the schedule, you’ll crochet 4 squares each week: Of course, it’s important that you know what to expect and what you can expect from me each week. That’s why I’ve put together a schedule showing when you’ll receive each pattern.

The CAL is hosted by the Yarnplaza Academy and runs for 10 weeks. If you follow the schedule, you’ll crochet 4 squares each week:

Week 1 – January 2, 2025: Pattern 2, 4 times

Week 2 - January 9, 2025: Pattern 8, 4 times

Week 3 - January 16, 2025: Pattern 3, 4 times

Week 4 - January 23, 2025: Pattern 5, 4 times

Week 5 - January 30, 2025: Pattern 6, 4 times

Week 6 - February 6, 2025: Pattern 7, 4 times

Week 7 – February 13, 2025: Pattern 4, 4 times

Week 8 - February 20, 2025: Pattern 1 once and Pattern 3 three times

Week 9 - February 27, 2025: Pattern 3 once and Pattern 2 twice

Week 10 - March 6, 2025 Crocheting the blocks together and the border
