Delft Deken Special DK Original Crochet Kit

The Delft Blanket Special DK Original Crochet Kit is the classic Delft Blue version of Jane Crowfoot’s famous Delft Blanket, made with Stylecraft Special DK yarn. The design is inspired by decorated blue and cream-colored plates and is composed of richly detailed crocheted motifs.

This Special DK version uses 6 colors and is larger than the original Life DK version. The color numbers have been adapted to Stylecraft Special DK, while you follow the basic pattern for the Delft Blanket.

Dimensions

The Special DK version weighs approx. 120 x 180 cm. Keep in mind your own yarn tension and how the blanket will shrink after blocking.

The pattern recommends washing the blanket after finishing it and letting it dry flat. Washing and blocking make the stitches more even, flatten the seams, and may cause the final measurements to change.
