With the Enchanted Crochet Kit from Crazy Crochet Catlady, you’ll crochet an impressive blanket using the mosaic crochet technique. The design has an elegant, almost enchanting look with a central mandala motif, rich details, and a beautiful color gradient. The strong contrast with black really makes the pattern stand out.

The Enchanted blanket is crocheted with Stylecraft Special DK. You can choose from two color options. Color Option 1 has a warm feel with deep reds, copper, orange, and yellow. Color Option 2, on the other hand, is colorful and bold, featuring purple, pink, orange, and yellow. Both variations are combined with black to create a distinct mosaic effect.

When crocheting a mosaic pattern, you change colors with each row. The pattern is created by working single crochets in the back loop and double crochets in the front loop of the row two rows below. This means you don’t have to change colors within the same row every time. The result is a blanket with plenty of depth, texture, and a beautiful graphic effect.

The blanket measures approximately 110 x 140 cm. The final dimensions may vary slightly depending on your crochet style. This project is suitable for crocheters with some experience or for motivated beginners who’d like to try mosaic crochet.
