Flowerbed CAL Crazy Crochet Catlady

The Flowerbed CAL is a 9-week Crochet Along by designer Anke Wintermans, also known as Crazy Crochet Catlady. During this CAL, you’ll crochet a colorful blanket using the mosaic crochet technique, inspired by blooming gardens and natural patterns. The CAL consists of six parts that will be released over the course of nine weeks.

Five different Yarn Kits are available for the Flowerbed CAL, each with its own garden theme and color scheme: Cottage Garden, Botanical Garden, English Garden, Zen Garden, and Herb Garden. All versions follow the same pattern and structure, but differ in color combinations and overall look.

The Flowerbed CAL is crocheted using the mosaic crochet technique in the round and is of moderate difficulty. The finished blanket measures approximately 135 x 170 cm. You’ll use a 4 mm Crochet Hook. The CAL is suitable for crocheters who already have some experience and would like to work on a structured, graphic project.

Please note: This Yarn Kit does not include a pattern. The pattern for the Flowerbed CAL is available in Dutch and English through the Ravelry Store and the website of the designer, Crazy Crochet Catlady. There is no German version of the pattern available.

The CAL begins on January 1, 2026. The parts will be published according to a set schedule: Part 1 on January 1, 2026; Part 2 on January 15, 2026; Part 3 on January 29, 2026; Part 4 on February 12, 2026; Part 5 on February 19, 2026; and Part 6 on February 26, 2026. If you purchase the pattern before January 1, 2026, you’ll receive a document with introductory information from Anke in advance.
