Looking for an original and personalized baby gift? With the Birth Cake Yarn and Crochet Kit, you can crochet a beautiful three-piece cake filled with adorable Amigurumi figures. This unique creation was designed by Sandra Bekx and is perfect as an eye-catching centerpiece for a baby shower or nursery. You can choose from two versions: blue for a boy or pink for a girl.

What are you going to make?

You'll crochet a three-tiered cake that's about 40 cm tall and 27 cm wide, complete with all kinds of decorations and cute Amigurumi figures. The cake is made up of several layers and decorated with:

• A stork
• A bear and a giraffe with playful fur
• Decorative balloons
• Toast with anise seeds
• A milk bottle and a nipple
• Leaves, roses, and swirls of whipped cream

You'll be using the Amigurumi technique, primarily with 2.5 mm and 3 mm Crochet Hooks.

What's included in the Crochet Kit?

• All the necessary balls of yarn in the chosen color scheme (pink or blue)
• 3 Styrofoam cake pans (Ø 10, 15, and 25 cm)
• Safety eyelets, 8 mm
• Stuffing
• Durable black crochet cotton (for details such as eyes or noses)
