Before you begin, make a gauge swatch using the Corner-to-Corner technique. According to the pattern, 1 block of 3 double crochets measures approximately 1.1 x 1.1 cm. A gauge swatch of 10 x 10 blocks should measure approximately 11 x 11 cm. If your stitches are too loose or too tight, adjust the hook size as needed.
