Granny Square Cardigan à la Chloë Crochet Kit

Love granny squares and colorful clothes? With the Granny Square Cardigan à la Chloë Crochet Kit, you can crochet a cheerful cardigan made of various granny squares. The design is by Chloë Corten, a former finalist in De Haakster 2020, and is crocheted with Yarn and Colors Baby Fabulous.

You can now put together the kit entirely on your own. First, choose your size, and then pick the colors for your Cardigan. You can stick with the original colorful combination from the pattern, or you can create your own color palette from scratch. That way, you can make the Granny Square Cardigan exactly the way you want it.

Choose your size

The patterns are available in two sizes:

• XS/S: You'll crochet a total of 50 Granny Squares measuring approximately 12 x 12 cm.
• M/L: You'll crochet a total of 69 Granny Squares measuring approximately 12 x 12 cm.

For size XS/S, the back panel consists of 4 x 4 Granny Squares, the front panels of 2 x 4 Granny Squares, and each sleeve of 3 x 3 Granny Squares. For size M/L, the panels and sleeves are larger, consisting of 5 x 5, 2 x 5, and 3 x 4 Granny Squares, respectively.

Choose your own colors

The original design consists of 10 different color combinations of Granny Squares. Each Granny Square is made up of several rounds of different colors, with a main color forming the outer edge.

With the customizable Crochet Kit, you get to choose which colors of Yarn and Colors Baby Fabulous to use. This way, you can recreate the original colorful look, choose a single muted color family, or create a combination that’s entirely your own.
