Haakplein Crochet Kit CAL2023 Nostalgia 2.0 – Following the huge success of the Nostalgia CAL in 2018, Haakplein is launching a new CAL. This time, it’s a bedspread called Nostalgia 2.0. Just like with the first Nostalgia bedspread, this kit uses the filet crochet technique. With this technique, you crochet open and closed squares that together form a pattern. You’ll crochet this beautiful blanket in strips that are joined together using connecting strips. For this nostalgic bedspread, you can choose to crochet it in a white or ecru version.

The Haakplein CAL2023 Nostalgia 2.0 begins on January 6 and consists of 24 patterns. One pattern will be posted online each week. The patterns include clear step-by-step instructions, crochet charts, and a few instructional videos. You can follow the Nostalgia 2.0 CAL via the “haakplein” Facebook group and www.haakplein.com.

The Nostalgia 2.0 CAL2023 is crocheted using Durable No. 8 knitting cotton. This yarn is made of 100% unbleached cotton. It has a classic and natural look. This traditional yarn is ideal for Cushions, bedspreads, and other home decor items.
