Christmas Cake - Crochet Kit

With the Christmas Cake, you’ll create a showstopper for the holidays: three cake layers with cheerful drips and plenty of decorations—a reindeer, penguin, snowman, Santa Claus, holly, bells, and more. The design is mostly crocheted with Yarn and Colors Must-have, with accents in Furry. Choose your kit below and get started right away.

Tools & Supplies (to be provided by you)

  • Crochet Hooks : 2.5 mm (most parts) and 3.0 mm (e.g., border/lining)
  • Glue gun & fabric glue
  • Stuffing (fiberfill)
  • Stitch markers, pins, darning needle, small scissors, piece of cardboard

Dimensions & Crochet Hook

  • Base cake layers : 7 cm high, Ø 25 cm / 15 cm / 10 cm
  • Total height: 37 cm
  • Recommended hook sizes : 2.5 mm and 3.0 mm

Good to know

  • The color distribution and number of balls per component are listed for each section in the pattern. For some parts, 2 balls are listed (e.g., Soil 028 top layer, Limestone 009 bottom layer covering).
  • Do you tend to knit a bit loosely with chain stitches? If so, use a needle half a size smaller for a tighter result.
  • The cake is assembled on Styrofoam using Glue on the Yarn, not on the Styrofoam itself.
  • The patterns and images are protected by copyright. For personal projects only.

Design: Sandra Bekx (2025). Detailed information such as the exact dimensions of the Styrofoam layers, crochet hook sizes, and quantities of accessories are taken from the pattern.

After purchase, you’ll find your digital pattern in your Yarnplaza account under “My Downloads.”
