Knipmode - Air Colletje Knitting Kit

With the Knipmode Air Cowl Knitting Kit, you can knit a striking cowl with a high neckband and playful I-cord fringe. The design is made with DROPS Air and makes a lovely extra layer over a sweater, blouse, or dress.

For this project, you'll need 3 balls of DROPS Air. You can choose from all available DROPS Air colors, including both Uni Color and Mix. That way, you can make the cowl entirely in your favorite color.

• (Interchangeable) Circular Knitting Needles, 5 and 5.5 mm
• 40-cm cable
• 5.5 mm double-pointed needles for the I-cords, or Circular Knitting Needles

Pitch Ratio

Using a 5.5 mm needle in stockinette stitch:
10 x 10 cm = 16 stitches x 22 rows.

About the Design

First, knit the back panel, then the shorter front panel. Next, sew the shoulders together and pick up stitches along the neckline to knit the turtleneck in the round. The I-cord fringe at the bottom gives the design its playful look. This project is rated as intermediate.

You'll need 5 and 5.5 mm Circular Knitting Needles with a 40 cm cable. For the I-cords, you can use 5.5 mm double-pointed needles. According to the project instructions, the I-cords can also be knitted using a Circular Knitting Needle.
