Baby Girl Welcome Wreath Crochet Kit

Crochet a festive baby wreath full of sweet details with the Baby Girl Wreath Crochet Kit. This version is crafted in soft shades of pink, Coral, and mint and makes a special decoration for the nursery or a personalized baby shower gift. The wreath has a 50 cm base and was designed by Monique for Yarnplaza.

The base consists of a crocheted cover made of 24 Granny Squares that are joined using the “join as you go” method. Then you crochet the individual baby decorations and attach them around the wreath.

What do you crochet for the girls’ version?

In addition to the large “BABY” letters, you’ll make a bear, a baby bottle, a ball, a washcloth, and other baby decorations. The most striking feature of this version is the crocheted flowers and leaves placed around the wreath. Wooden beads are also used for the floral accents.

Yarn and Materials

For this version, you’ll be working with Yarn and Colors Epic, Must-have, Must-have Mini, and Charming. According to the pattern, you’ll need 5 balls of Epic 102, along with additional colors of Epic 43 and 42, Must-have in 38, 40, 43, 09, 102, and 118, Must-have Mini 28, and Charming 32. The pattern also calls for 25 10-mm wooden beads.

The Styrofoam wreath has a diameter of 50 cm. Stuffing is used for various parts.
