If so, there’s now an irresistible Yarn Kit on our shelves: the Letitia’s Holiday Blanket MAL Yarn Kit. The CAL for this blanket was a huge success last fall. Now that everyone has gotten a taste for mosaic crochet again after the Letitia’s Garden Blanket, designer Rosina Plane decided to release this Christmas blanket in new colors. For this, she used Stylecraft Highland Heathers DK yarn, whose rich shades of purple, green, and blue are inspired by the rugged nature of the Scottish Highlands. Of course, you can also choose the “old” colorways of Stylecraft Special DK.

The theme of the Holiday Blanket is immediately clear: CHRISTMAS! By using the inset and overlay mosaic crochet technique, your Blanket is embellished with Christmas ornaments, pine trees, candles, Christmas bells, and gingerbread men, among other things. We keep yarn weaving in to a minimum; the yarn ends are hidden in an envelope edge. For the Holiday Blanket, Rosina used the same number of stitches as for her Letitia Garden Blanket. This allows you to combine the motifs into a single, unique piece if desired. The pattern includes clear instructions and crochet charts. Support videos are also available.
