The fabric is made through weaving bundles of threads and treating them with a little starch. This makes the holes easier to see and allows the needle to glide more easily through the fabric. The starch washes out after the project is washed. This Aïda fabric from Restyle is a 14-count fabric, which means 5.4 squares per cm. The embroidery fabric comes with an embroidery thread holder, a needle, and instructions for embroidery stitches. Fabric dimensions: 40x50 cm.
