- Schmetz Jersey Needles (Ballpoint)
The ideal needle for jersey and other knitted fabrics. The rounded tip (SUK/ballpoint) pushes the fibers aside instead of cutting through them, so stitches aren’t damaged and your seam remains nicely elastic. Suitable for virtually all household sewing machines (System 130/705 H SUK). Each pack contains 5 needles.

Choose the right size

• 70/10 - fine jersey, lightweight T-shirt fabrics, baby clothes
• 80/12 - medium-weight jersey, sweater knit, Viscose jersey (most commonly used)
• 90/14 - heavier jersey, jogging/sweatshirt fabric, French terry

Tip: Choose an elastic stitch or a narrow zigzag stitch for stretchy seams, and consider using stretch thread in the looper for extra flexibility.
