5 Unique Birds - Crochet & Collect Them All

Crochet Birds - We have another fun new CAL (crochet-along). Over the next few weeks, we'll be sharing free patterns for 5 unique Amigurumi birds! Will you crochet them all? Then read on.

5 Unique Amigurumi Figures
We’re going to crochet 5 unique… birds! These birds make cute and cheerful bag charms! So we’ll also attach a carabiner to each one so you can hang these cuties on your bag (or keychain)! They’re 5 very different Amigurumi; one loves tropical temperatures and likes to float in the water, while another can only be found in freezing cold regions. Think outside the box, and maybe you can already guess a few of the birds (so no pigeons or robins). The only thing these birds have in common is that they all have wings and a beak. And of course, they all have their own personality, shape, and color! We’re keeping exactly which birds they are a secret for now.

Free Crochet Patterns | Crochet & collect them all!
We’re sharing a total of 5 patterns so you can crochet all the birds. We’ll post the first pattern on our blog on Wednesday, May 2. As an extra guide, we’ve also recorded a video for each bird. Annemarie Arts, the designer of the Amigurumi, will explain how to make each bird. In two weeks, we’ll reveal the first bird and share its free pattern on this blog. We can already reveal that this sweet bird is named “Pip” and doesn’t get cold easily. Pip is funny, enthusiastic, and brave.

Basic Pattern
The heads and bodies of the birds are all crocheted using the same basic pattern. The rest (such as the beak, wings, etc.) varies from bird to bird, and the pattern is adjusted accordingly each time.
