Now use a dog comb to fluff up the head nicely. Do this before attaching the eyes.

Place the safety eyes between rows 2 and 3. This is now also the top of the cup.
To make sure the safety eyes stay in place on this thick yarn while the child is playing, we also glue the eyes to the crocheted piece, just to be safe.

Fill the head firmly with stuffing, attach the spider's head to the body between rows 11 and 19, and sew it securely in place all around with small stitches.

Crochet 8 legs as follows.

Rows 2 through 5: Crochet 6 single crochets in each row (6).
Now stuff the leg very lightly with a little stuffing.
Round 6: Fold the leg flat and now crochet the first section closed with 3 sc.
Now crochet another round of single crochets on the 3 sc by stitching your Crochet Hook only under the front loop of each sc; this way, you’ll crochet 3 sc on one side and 3 sc on the other, so that you have another round of 6 sc.
7the through the 13ththe tour:
Crochet 6 single crochets in each row (6).

Lightly stuff the leg with a little stuffing and crochet it closed with 3 ch.
Once you've combed all the legs, use the dog comb to make them fluffy.

Sew the first two legs to the side of the body, next to the head, on row 15. Space the remaining legs as you see fit on the same row. Single crochet them securely in place with a few small stitches.
